St Vincent De Paul

DESCRIPTION

A lay society whose principal work is the visitation and support of the poor, regardless of creed, opinion, colour, caste and origin.

FUNCTION

The primary function of the SVDP Society is to help the poor; the poor being defined broadly as all those in need of food, clothing, shelter and companionship.

POLICY

Policies generated by the National Council of St Vincent de Paul are carried out by District Councils and Parish Conferences.
